We are an ESSENTIAL business and are open to serve our community.
We see dogs, cats, puppies and kittens for wellness visits, sick pets and emergencies within staffed hours.
The safety of our employees and clients is our priority. As the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak continues to evolve and spread globally, Golden Isles Animal Hospital is monitoring the situation closely and will periodically update our company guidelines based on current recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the World Health Organization. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the potential risk of exposure to our workforce and visitors, we are conducting a simple screening to help us take precautionary measures to protect you, and everyone in the building.
1) Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last month?
2) Have you had contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
3) Have you been in contact with anyone who has traveled out of state or out of country within the last 14 days? If so, where?
4) Have you experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days (including fever, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty breathing?)
If your answer to any of these questions is YES; your appointment at Golden Isles Animal Hospital may be rescheduled for a later date.
FOR OUR CURRENT CLIENTS;
We’ve asked all clients who feel ill, have had exposure to COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19 to call their medical provider for advice on next steps. If your pet requires immediate care, please call the hospital prior to arrival to discuss the situation. We have plans in place to help ensure your pet receives the care it needs. We will also happily reschedule your pet’s appointment until you’re well.
WE OFFER CURBSIDE SERVICE FOR YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY
For our pre-scheduled upcoming appointments for current clients we offer curbside assistance. If you prefer, simply call us when you arrive in the parking lot for your appointment, the receptionist is able at that time to collect your method of payment and put a card on file. Wearing the recommended PPE, your pets nurse will come out and discuss any treatments, diagnostics or recommendations for your pet including an estimated total for services. After answering all your questions, your pets nurse can then bring your pet into the hospital and perform all of the approved services and bring your pet out to you with your receipt!
We do have hand sanitizing stations at the entry of our facility and recommend all our clients practice hand washing, social distancing and proper hygiene during this time of uncertainty.
